The B53N Classic P90 is a vintage-voiced single-coil set designed for clarity, punch, and expressive response. Wound for balance between neck and bridge positions, it delivers the unmistakable P90 character — open top end, focused mids, and dynamic touch sensitivity.

Construction
Hand-wound in Canada with Alnico V magnets, 42 AWG plain-enamel wire, and vintage-style flatwork. Wax-potted for stability while maintaining lively dynamic response.
Nitro dipped and wax-potted for stability.

The Story
The B53N Classic began with Doug Carr — a guitarist deeply rooted in the Vancouver music scene and a player with a lifelong ear for real tone.
As a fan of warmth, feel, and musical honesty, Doug helped inspire one of BTone’s earliest P90 voices.
Doug was the first to receive this set, making it a meaningful part of the BTone story from the start. In BTone naming tradition, it became the B53N Classic — “53” marking Doug’s birth year, 1953, and “Classic” reflecting the timeless BTone voice behind it.
